Welcome to the Greenbelt FFA District ~ 14 counties, over 800 members, 19 FFA Advisors, 16 FFA Chapters

• September 29, 2026, 1:54 PM from Kylar Bursey ~ I hope everyone enjoyed the meeting! I think our district officers did a great job. All of the students I brought enjoyed the meeting! We have a great set of officers!  Minutes from the teacher meeting: Fresh Country Door prizes! 

• District LDE 

• November 9th in Memphis

• Quiz will start at 9:30 and all other events will start at 10:00. Judges need to arrive by 9:20. 

• For the quiz contest, scantrons will be provided, but you will need to bring a clipboard and pencils for each participant, they take the quiz in the gym.  

• Entries are $10 and entries are due Nov/ 2 on Judgingcard, if you enter after Nov 2 there will be a $250 late fee for each entry.  

• You can run 2 teams in every event except chapter conducting. 

• We will feed the kids pizza for lunch in the band hall.  

• Judges Swap: 

• We need to participate in the judges swap so we will have judges come and help us. Please be on the lookout for emails to sign up to judge. If you are interested in helping judge The Top of Texas (Nov 4th) and Amarillo LDE. 

• District Banquet 

• In Childress at 6pm on December 7th 

• We are taking suggestions on what we feed the kids, (the place we usually use doesn’t cater anymore). You need to have those suggestions with prices back to Christan, Drew or Me by Oct 10th.  

• This will be the Talent Show, entires are will be on judgingcard and will close on and you will need to have lyrics to Riley Sloan by November 30

• Judgingcard 

• We have several people who have missed deadlines(me included), be sure you are reading my emails and getting registered for things on judgingcard on time. We are doing everything through judgingcard so it easily transfers all activities to you students' lonestars, so there is a method to this madness.  

• I am attaching several jackpot show flyers. Please support each of our chapters! 

• October 3 Wellington: Lambs, Goat, Heifers, and Steer 

• October 17-18 Guthrie: Sheep, Goats, Cattle and Swine 

• October 24-25 Childress, swine, Cattle Sheep and Goats 

• November 28 Hardeman County fall classic, Lambs, Goat, Heifers, and Steer

• Wed, Sept. 9, 10:24 am from Kylar Bursey ~ Good morning, The fall district meeting is Sept. 28 @ Motley County starting at 5:00. District officers will need to be there at 4:30.   Bring ice cream for your students. We will not be feeding anyone.  It will be posted on judging card in the next few days and will be closed on Sept. 21.  Students do not have to be in official dress.  There will be a short session ran by the district officers and then a dance.  Teachers we will have a short meeting to discuss upcoming events during the dance.  Thanks and have a great day!!

• Fri, July 29, 9:12 AM from Kylar Bursey ~ Good morning!  I hope each of you had a great week in Corpus! I know I did, and I'm excited to bring back some new ideas to implement in my classroom this year.  I've attached the Greenbelt District meeting minutes, which include notes from both our Tuesday district meeting and the ALC meeting. I've also attached the Area meeting minutes for your reference.  If you have any questions about the meeting minutes or anything related to the district, please don't hesitate to reach out to Drew, Christian, or me.
