Area Career Development Events

Career Development Events are held at the district, area, state and national level for FFA chapters in 29 different disciplines.  CDE's build on what is learned in agricultural classes, encouraging members to put their knowledge into practice.  The competitive events help members prepare for a career in agriculture by testing and challenging the student's technical, leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as their knowledge of the subject matter.
